Normalization of Person with Disabilities
The activity that promotes the employment of the disabled began in 2020 under the United Nations’ “Leave No One Behind” concept and in response to the AISIN Group Priority Issue Goal No.8 to promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.
Under the “Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Act, B.E. 2550 (2007), which specifies that employers or establishments must employ persons with disabilities in proper proportions to the entire number of employees. AISIN group realizes that the disabled are part of the society, and have human dignity and equality as other persons, and employment of persons with disabilities is a significant process to support their sustainable lives rather than sending money to the fund. When the disabled have a career, they can generate income based on their knowledge and abilities. They can use this income to support themselves and their families, ultimately leading to an improved quality of life. It also influences the values and perspectives of both the general public and persons with disabilities, enabling everyone to coexist in society with a sense of normalcy.
