Cultural Diversity

Songkran is a traditional festival celebrated in Thailand and some parts of Southeast Asia. It is also known as the Thai New Year's festival and is one of the most important events in the country. The festival takes place annually from April 13th to 15th, although the duration may vary in different regions.

Songkran marks the beginning of the traditional Thai calendar year and is a time for family reunions, temple visits, and paying respects to seniors.

Thai AISIN Group Company held the Songkran ceremony every April and this ritual involves young people pouring rose and jasmine-scented water into the palms of seniors as a sign of humility and to ask for their blessings.

Employee Relations

PT AISIN Indonesia hosted a highly anticipated and inclusive event combining Sports Day and Family Day, providing an opportunity for employees and their families to engage in friendly competition, promote a sense of unity, foster team spirit, and celebrate the importance of work-life balance in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

Other

Another pioneering program of Toyota AISIN Philippines, Inc. (TAP) is the School-based Ecological Solid Waste Management Program (SESWMP) which started in 2007. A total of 110 private and public schools (elementary and high school) in the City of Santa Rosa were part of this program.

The objectives of SESWMP are to teach the Waste Management Standards of 3R (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle). Every school is encouraged to implement and sustain the program. As of now TAP constantly monitors each school on a regular basis in order to check the status and find better ways to improve the system.
