Thai AISIN Group Tree Planting Activity: Building a Greener Future Together

On October 26, 2024, 433 executives and employees from Thai AISIN Group gathered at the Bangpu Nature Education Center in Samut Prakan Province for the "Thai AISIN Group Tree Planting" under the theme “AISIN Green FES.” This event combined environmental action with a festive spirit, making tree planting both meaningful and enjoyable. It promoted sustainability and inspired employees to contribute to a greener society.

The activity focused on four core concepts tied to the “AISIN Green FES” theme:
Green = Increase Green Area: Committed to expanding green spaces, over 2,000 trees were planted to enhance carbon absorption and biodiversity. 

F = Free Space: The activity supported inclusion by providing space for vendors with disabilities, such as "Art Story by Autistic Thai" and "YimSoo Cafe," allowing them to showcase their talents and generate income. Employees also donated unused items, which were given to the Mirror Foundation to help those in need.

E = Engagement: To engage all attendees, activities like waste sorting and plastic reduction campaigns were organized. Reusable cups minimized single-use plastics, encouraging environmentally friendly choices.

S = Sustainability Awareness: Through tree planting and the “Unite to Act” principle, AISIN Group emphasized its commitment to creating "a better tomorrow" with responsibility for a sustainable society.

By turning tree planting into an engaging celebration of sustainability, the AISIN Green FES showed how small collective actions can create lasting change. It inspired employees to reflect on their role in environmental stewardship and actively contribute to a sustainable future for generations to come.
