FY2023 Thai AISIN Group Tree Planting Activity

On November 11th, 2023, a total of 407 employees from the Thai AISIN Group gathered at the Bangpu Nature Education Center in Samut Prakan Province for a special event. Our collective purpose was to plant trees and contribute to the preservation of the environment.

We have focused on three important concepts:

1. Taking Care of the Environment: We all worked together to promote eco-friendly habits, such as encouraging everyone to use their own water bottles and lunch boxes. This not only helps protect the environment but also contributes to the overall health of our planet.

2. Including Everyone: We brought together leaders from the Thai AISIN Group and employees to discuss the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Additionally, we extended invitations to other stakeholders such as [Art Story by Autistic Thai] and [YimSoo Cafe], which actively employ individuals with disabilities. This demonstrates our commitment to providing equal opportunities for all.

3. Spreading Awareness: We ensured that everyone understood the importance of planting trees. We discussed the significance of the "Decade of Action" and motivated everyone to prioritize environmental care. Our goal is to disseminate this knowledge and encourage more people to participate.

Last year, we planted 1,750 trees, and this year, we have planted an additional 2,500. Our goal is to plant a total of 14,000 trees by 2026, demonstrating our strong commitment to environmental stewardship. While this is a significant undertaking, it reflects our dedication to caring for our environment.
 

This event was a significant success as it demonstrates our strong commitment to a greener and more sustainable future. We are working collaboratively, embracing diversity, and remaining dedicated to environmental protection.
