AISIN's Build Forests, Build Lives, Reduce CO2 Emissions" Project Expands Efforts in Rayong for the Fourth Year
On August 21, 2024, AISIN Chemical (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (ACT), continued its commitment to environmental conservation with the fourth edition of the "Build Forests, Build Lives, Reduce CO2 Emissions" project. Held at Nam Daeng Beach in Klaeng District, Rayong Province, the initiative brought together 51 participants from various sectors including ACT, AIAP, AA-T, ADSMT from AISIN Group, KMCT (a company in the Rojana Industrial Park), and Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, Rayong Province (DMCR).
The project, aimed at increasing CO2 absorption and promoting biodiversity, engaged participants in hands-on conservation efforts. Activities included planting 710 mangrove trees across a 1-rai area, releasing 100 sea crabs, and a cultural learning experience focused on the local community's traditional method of brushing crab eggs.
This initiative contributes to Thailand's environmental goals and fosters a sense of responsibility and connection between employees and nature, emphasizing the importance of corporate participation in ecological sustainability.
