AISIN ASEAN Teams Shine at the 12th AISIN Ekiden in Japan!

The 12th AISIN Ekiden, a prestigious long-distance relay road race in Japan, was held on November 17, 2024, at the scenic Laguna Beach in Gamagori City, Aichi Prefecture. This grand event brought together 19,800 participants, including athletes and supporters, from 63 AISIN companies worldwide, competing in a total of 550 teams across the General and Diversity divisions.

Representing AISIN ASEAN, 16 athletes qualified for the General Division, forming two competitive teams—Team A and Team B. The teams delivered remarkable performances, with Team A securing 97th place and Team B achieving an impressive 54th rank out of 169 teams.

Adding to the celebration, Ms. Phakjira Khingthong (Petch) from ADSAP claimed the 1st place title in the Women’s 1.8 km Distance Category, a stellar achievement that highlighted AISIN ASEAN’s talent and determination.

This event was more than just a race. It underscored AISIN's commitment to promoting fitness, teamwork, and the core values of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I). Through sports, AISIN continues to unite people from all backgrounds, fostering a sense of community and shared success.
