AISIN in 3rd Asia Karakuri Kaizen Exhibition in Thailand 2024

From February 7th to 8th, 2024, AISIN participated in the 3rd Asia Karakuri Kaizen Exhibition in Thailand 2024. This event, which was mainly supported by the Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM) and the Embassy of Japan in Thailand, focused on transferring knowledge and skills in applying Karakuri Kaizen to achieve higher efficiency.

Out of the 27 leading companies in Thailand, 7 companies from AISIN brought 16 Karakuri Kaizen works to showcase the latest advancements in techniques such as "Assist tool for easy push cart" from AISIN Powertrain (Thailand) Co., Ltd., "Pure and Semi automation chute transfer" from AISIN Thai Automotive Casting Co., Ltd., or “KARAKURI Family” from AISIN Autoparts (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

It is a great honor that the work titled "Assist tool for easy push cart" from AISIN Powertrain (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has received the prestigious "JIPM Special Prize". This award holds the distinction of being the third most popular award, as voted on by attendees.

1. Mr. Noriyuki Kitazato, President of AISIN Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. visited and encouraged each booth.

2. AISIN Autoparts (Thailand) Co., Ltd. showcased 3 works: (1) Karakuri family, (2) Automatic oil coating, and (3) Automatic oil remover.

3. AISIN Powertrain (Thailand) Co., Ltd. received the "JIPM Special Prize" for "Assist tool for easy push cart" work.

4. AISIN Thai Automotive Casting Co., Ltd. showcased Pure and Semi automation chute transfer.

5. Siam AISIN Co., Ltd. showcased 2 works: (1) Production line simulation, and (2) Rails for delivering work across the road.

6. AISIN Takaoka Asia Co., Ltd. showcased Assy parts supply device.

7. Shiroki Corporation (Thailand) Ltd. showcased a Cart for mold change over with mechanism to prevent mold drop.

8. ADVICS Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. showcased 2 works: (1) KARAKURI Chute return tray pad, and (2) Pokayoke RH/LH for 740B RR
